N. Marcia Harris, M.A. is a Motivational Speaker, Career Consultant and presenter of "Do You Have What It Takes?"

Marcia Harris holds a full-time position as Technical Expert and Outreach Coordinator for the Social Security Administration. Her responsibilities include an F.E.O. Counselor insuring equal rights and opportunities to all and a federal Spanish translator.

Marcia holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's degree in community counseling from Ohio University. She is an Adjunct staff member and professor at Shawnee State University for the Social Science department and teaches psychology courses.

Marcia is a member of the American Counseling Association. Her experience includes group work and Shawnee Mental Health and Riverview Mental Hospital for ten years. Marcia has received several acknowledgments for outstanding group work.

Marcia is a member of the Ohio Chapter of the National Speakers Association and a member of the National Speaker Association. She offers a series "YOUnique Life Skills" seminars to the youth and adult population. Marcia is a certified Laughter Leader and emphasizes humor in groups to add wellness and relaxation.

Marcia is the program director for a youth personal development program named "Time Out for Me" which focuses on enhancing the self-esteem and personal development of our youth. The program includes a beginning conversational Spanish class and has been in existence since 1990.

Marcia is the director of a community youth dance team called "Young Spirits for Christ" and a mentorship program for teens called "Spiritual Warriors on the Move." These programs focus on personal development for youth encouraging them to become aware of their abilities and skills leading to them to their purpose in life.

Marcia's passion and purpose in life is to remind all that "you have a right to inner peace and control in your life and can obtain this through increased awareness of your abilities, skills, and PURPOSE in life."
