1. A CONTRACT FOR L.I.F.E.: A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO SPIRITUAL / MENTAL / PHYSICAL GREATNESS

This session focuses on YOU becoming that "self-actualizing" individual being your "Very Best" through a spiritual, mental, and physical balancing. An emphasis is placed on a mind-body connection in which you are guided through this life and protected by your inner forces which cares for you based on your continuous body/mind interactions.

Spiritual awareness is discussed (do you know your purpose in this life?) with participants and an individual assessment is reviewed in detail reflecting one's roots and passion on a continuing basis.

Mental awareness is discussed emphasizing the vital importance of knowledge, education, teaching, and relaxation techniques on a continuing basis to ensure maintenance.

Last, but not least, the vital importance of Physical awareness is discussed emphasizing that "You are What you Eat" giving invaluable information on how diet and nutrition effects "what" we are and "what" we do and "how" we do it. The awesome effects of regular physical exercise in prolonging a healthy life and allowing your purpose to run its course cannot be overestimated.

2. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

This session focuses on the importance of communications in your daily living. Communication is the most difficult yet most essential part of our daily lives. The highly effective individual realizes this and does not take communication lightly. This session encourages you as a participant to recognize the importance and effectiveness of verbal and non-verbal communication in producing strong effective working relationships as a result of 'listening" first to understand and then to be understood realizing that the end result is INTERDEPENDENCE where everyone benefits.


3. GOAL-SETTING TECHNIQUES

This session focuses on the importance of goal setting and the steps for setting and achieving short and long-term goals in your life. Participants are reminded of the several types of goals in which we encounter in our daily lives which represent our life areas and the importance of following the specific steps in order to become successful in overcoming the obstacles we encounter. The results are a wiser, more confident individual learning from life's obstacles and realizing that you do not have to "change" your goal when faced with an obstacle only the direction of your action in order to achieve your goal. Emphasis is not placed on what you get for achieving your goal, but on what you "become" in the process.


4. STRESS MANAGEMENT

This session defines "stress", how it affects you physically and psychologically, the prolonged effects, sources and types of stress which you are confronted with on a daily basis in your environment.

Participants are given personal management techniques for reducing stress which include regular exercise, relaxation techniques, and other methods which must be followed on a regular basis in order to prevent stress build-up as well as maintaining our physical and mental health. Participants are encouraged to select techniques in which they enjoy and are committed.

Group interaction and a summary of "good" stress managers is discussed increasing all participants' awareness of the effects of stress and the sources that occur on a regular basis. The end results are being at peace versus angry, being in control versus hassled and feeling alive versus burnout.
